Clinical Pharmacy Practice continues to have a major impact on the healthcare of patients. Residency training has enabled pharmacists to advance the practice of pharmacy and provide a new standard to which all patients have come to expect. New pharmacy services, research and teaching have always been the hallmark of clinical practice. The "dispensing of information" has established the practitioner as an expert in the appropriate use of pharmaceutical products.
